About the Plant

Buddleja 'Candy Little Purple' is an award-winning dwarf butterfly bush, specially bred to stay compact. Unlike classic large butterfly bushes, this variety keeps a very compact, dense, and neatly rounded shape. Its intensely deep-purple, cone-shaped flower clusters carry a sweet, honey-like fragrance and bloom continuously from July through to October — making it a garden highlight for months on end.

In Estonian conditions, young plants are somewhat tender and benefit from winter protection (covering and mulching), as shoots may die back in harsher winters. However, the shrub typically recovers well from lower buds in spring.
