About the Plant

Paeonia Itoh 'Morning Lilac' is an exceptionally beautiful and rare intersectional hybrid peony. Its enormous semi-double blooms — up to 21 cm in diameter — open in rich lilac-plum tones, with lavender becoming the dominant colour as flowering progresses. Itoh peonies bloom longer than herbaceous types, as flowers open gradually, extending the display by up to 3 weeks.

Growth Habit

• Planting: Plant bare-root in autumn. Buds (eyes) must be exactly 3–5 cm below the soil surface — planting too deep will prevent flowering.
