Hydrangea 'Wim's Red' is one of the most beloved and decorative ornamental shrubs in Estonian gardens, celebrated for its extraordinary colour-changing effect. From the first creamy-white blooms of early summer to the deep wine-red of autumn, this shrub puts on a show that lasts for months. • Flowering begins very early (July, sometimes from late May/June)
• Large cone-shaped flower heads open creamy white

Care Tips

• Pruning: Hard prune in early spring (March/April), cutting back approx. 2/3 of previous year's growth (or leave approx. 30 cm from ground). This encourages strong new shoots and significantly larger flower heads.
