Hydrangea 'Sundae Fraise' - Compact and Abundantly Flowering

Hydrangea 'Sundae Fraise' is a compact, low-growing, dense ornamental shrub that offers a delightful display of alternating white and strawberry-pink blooms from July through to October. Its manageable size makes it perfect for smaller gardens, border edges, and terrace or balcony pots.

Colour Journey

• Flower heads open creamy white in early summer
• Gradually turn soft pink through summer
• Deepen to a rich dark pink by autumn

• Compact size: height 0.8-1.2 m, width up to 1 m

Growing Conditions

• Position: Sunny to partially shaded - in full shade flower heads will be smaller
• Soil: Fertile, humus-rich, moderately moist garden soil; does not tolerate excessive dryness or waterlogging
• Pot size: P9

Care Tips

• Pruning: For best flowering, cut back to approx. 20-30 cm in spring (March-April)
• Fertilising: Apply specialist hydrangea fertiliser in spring and early summer; stop fertilising from August onwards
